Happy Birthday to We! [a review and preview!] Artsfans!
The Synarts organization turns two whopping years old today!
We're also pleased to announce Friday, August 24th will be the date of our first fall show at the ASL Gallery in Woods Hall, on the University of Alabama campus (more details coming!).
In celebration of our birthday and anticipation of more artistry and mayhem, here's a small pictorial essay of the collaboration of all the arts & enthusiasts we (and that means you!) have scraped together thus far in our infancy...

fall preview
Artists, Synarts is in the planning stages of at least four fall shows, beginning with our "Arts Cotillion" (synarts coming out party) set for late August/early September in Tuscaloosa. In an attempt to introduce ourselves to a wider swath of the community, we're envisioning a large juried show with a healthy representation of our previous participants as well as a helping of new blood. (blood! give us your blood!) We're looking forward to a survey of the visual genres, as well as acoustic musical or spoken performance. This is an early invitation to participate in submission or attendance of our big fall season starting show. After this we've got at least a show per month until December! So, with love, keep in touch, Synaesthetic Arts Synarts Snart | | Sunday, May 27th, 2007 | | 10:45 pm |
